Stephanie gets married in about a month and we are so excited. We decided to have a girls night and go shopping at Park City.
Later we went for lunch at Kneaders Bakery. If there is one where you live I HIGHLY recommend going there.
It is one of my favorite places to eat. I tried the Kneaders Turkey Cranberry Salad and remade something like it. It turned out amazing. Hope you like it.
tips for making kneaders turkey cranberry salad
- This is a great dinner or lunch recipe to serve after Thanksgiving. I always have quite a bit of turkey leftover, so I love to make this salad with the leftover turkey. You can also purchase pre-cooked and shredded turkey at most grocery stores. You may have to go to the deli and ask for it, but most stores have it.If worse comes to worst, you could also use a thicker, lunch meat as well.
- If you don’t have sunflower seeds on hand, you could also use pumpkin seeds. I love making this with seasoned pumpkin seeds during the fall.If you need a good pumpkin seed recipe, check out our Roasted Pumpkin Seeds.
- This recipe calls for feta cheese. If you are not a lover of feta cheese, you could also use a mozzarella cheese, and it would still taste delicious.I even like to put some fresh parmesan on mine. Really any cheese would work with this, but we recommend feta or mozzarella.
Could I made this recipe with chicken?
You could of course make this recipe with chicken instead of turkey. My favorite thing is to add grilled chicken, that I made earlier in the week.
