This was a delicious recipe and reminds me a lot of the calorie-ridden dish I would order at Chinese restaurants. I made this for my family and my young daughter had a friend over for dinner. I didn't think she would like it but she ate it and enjoyed it as well! Will be making again!

This was fine, but nothing great.

This was good and easy to throw together. Unfortunately, the lettuce tends to fall apart easily. We do prefer the Cooking Light recipe 'In-a-pinch Moo Shu Chicken' from the May 2003 edition slightly better.

This was quick and easy and a hit with my family. I would make again with some adjustments - less cabbage and more shredded carrots to add more crunch (or use broccoli slaw as someone suggested). I think it would be fine with cashews or peanuts - I had cashews so I used them.

5 stars, per my husband. Double the sauce. Nix the sherry. Use dry ginger in the sauce (vs fresh in the pan). Add hot pepper flakes to the sauce. Pan fry about 3/4lb of finely diced chx in the sesame oil. Add 2 large, mined, garlic cloves once the chicken is no longer pink. Cook for 30 seconds, then add the coleslaw mix, green onions, and sauce. Wilt down - about 2 minutes.Top the wraps with fresh squeezed lime, cashews (or peanuts), green onions, and sriracha.

My family loved this! I doubled the sauce, garlic, ginger and chicken. Didn't have any dry sherry so I substituted with equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Served it with Trader Joe's Chicken Fried Rice. Definitely a keeper recipe. Nice quick and easy dinner. Thanks Cooking Light!

I made this dish twice within 1 week after getting this issue of Cooking Light because my husband and I both LOVED these lettuce cups! I did make a couple of changes from the recipe, though. I shredded a whole rotisserie chicken from the grocery store, and I julienned some carrots and cabbage instead of using the packaged coleslaw mix. Finally, I used peanuts instead of cashews (because cashews are expensive) and I think that actually helped to make the dish - we loved the peanuty flavor! I served this with some ginger and garlic brown rice.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I make a whole chicken every week in the crock pot, so that I can use it for quick recipes just like this. It was delicious and really simple. Super quick as well! I didn't have any sherry, so I just omitted it from the recipe. I think that I probably added more chicken than it called for, but that just made it even better in my opinion. I'll definitely be making this again. It's a fun meal for kids too.

I give this recipe 4 stars with the following changes: Used ground chicken and freshly chopped cabbage (not as much as the recipe says). I doubled the sauce and added chopped water chestnuts. I also added about 3 TBS of Sriracha and a healthy shake of crushed red pepper while cooking.

contrary to the other reviews, I really liked this recipe, however to be fair I made very slight adjustments. I used slightly more of all of the ingredients for the sauce in response to the other reviewers saying they found the flavor bland. Additionally, I only used about half the package of cole slaw (maybe 2.5 cups) that I had; it seemed to me using the entire package would yield too much slaw and not enough of the meat. I also poured some of the juice from the rotisserie chicken over the meat and incorporated it into the meal for more flavor. I found this delicious, and used leftovers over rice. Also--in my opinion--the recipe name is very misleading. This does not taste like any mu shu or lettuce wraps (a la PF Chang's and the like) I've ever had before, so you can't make this and expect that same dish. If you do, I think you'll be disappointed.

I made this pretty much as directed except I took the one review's advice and used broccoli slaw but I added to the cabbage slaw mixed 50/50. I thought it had a strong ginger and nutty flavor. Make sure you use fresh ginger and sesame oil. If you try a substitution those ingredients, it will definitely leave it bland as they are the prominent flavors. This was a quick, low calorie, flavorful meal. I will be making it again!

I was excited to try a new and easy lettuce wrap recipe however this one was not great. It was easy but bland. I followed the recipe exactly but it had a strange taste. My husband ate them but I will definitely not make again.

These were excellent. Just to be fair on the rating, I actually used broccoli slaw instead of cole slaw and did think it needed a touch of chile garlic sauce at the end. (I know, I know. I'm not rating the actual recipe...)

Comes together very quickly. Followed recipe exactly. Will definitely make again and will try adding some of the suggested additions from other reviewers.

Very easy to make--great weeknight meal. I did not feel it was bland, but I imagine others might who are expecting a spicy flavor. I think adding a little chili garlic sauce would be a nice addition.

Made this tonight for dinner for my family of 6 and one teenaged guest. I think it came together in less than 15 minutes. Fantastic. We used jarred ground ginger and minced garlic. I doubled the recipe and made one batch with chicken and one with tofu and mushrooms for my vegetarian son. Both were gobbled up quickly. My husband also suggested that plum sauce would be good on top, but the rest of us thought it was great the way it was.

Was so excited to make this for New Year's Eve with the family, but fell a bit flat. I doubled the recipe and followed to a T (except used pre-cooked, grilled chicken) but seemed to be missing something. Flavor improved after we sprinkled a bit of dumpling sauce on top. Everybody ate them but no one raved and that's what I was looking for! Maybe less coleslaw and more meat next time-ground chicken might be better bet?
