Air fryer sausage fans, you must try co*cktail sausages in air fryer. These cute little sausages air fry brilliantly from frozen, you can have them as is, or toss them in some honey and mustard for the perfect sticky appetiser.

We used Iceland co*cktail sausages though you can use any brand and Lidl, Aldi, Asda and Tesco mini sausages are also delicious in the air fryer.

Are you like me, and when you think about co*cktail sausages, you think of that 1970’s appetiser?

As in the little co*cktail sticks with the co*cktail sausages, pineapple and some cheese.

They are one of my favourite treats over Christmas and I still make them now, even though they have been out of fashion for a lot of years.

I just love the simplicity of the food on the co*cktail sticks and reminds me of just how much I love eating co*cktail sausages.

Fast forward to our modern world of air frying, and I love to still make co*cktail sticks with sausage, pineapple and cheese, but now the co*cktail sausages are cooked in the air fryer.

Its quick to do co*cktail sausages in air fryer, and you can be getting everything else ready on the sticks as the co*cktail sausages cook. Then allow them to cool because otherwise that cheese will melt (saying from personal experience lol).

Can You Air Fry Frozen co*cktail Sausages?

Yes, you can air fry frozen co*cktail sausages and you will love them. We have cooked many sausages from frozen in the air fryer and we love the co*cktail frozen sausages the most.

Why? Because co*cktail sausages are smaller (often called mini sausages) they cook faster in the air fryer. They also carry a little more fat than the healthier alternative meaning that they brown better.

How Do You Cook co*cktail Sausages?

In the air fryer of course, just grab a bag of your favourite co*cktail sausages from the freezer, throw them in the air fryer and hey presto, you have perfectly cooked pork co*cktail sausages.

What About Quorn co*cktail Sausages?

If you are a vegetarian, why not cook quorn co*cktail sausages in the air fryer instead? I have tried them in the air fryer and really liked them. They need a little longer if you want them brown, but are a great plan B.

co*cktail Sausages – We find the Iceland co*cktail sausages bags are quite small so did 2 bags of them. You can do as few co*cktail sausages as you like. Though don’t go above our quantity as they will not cook well if overloaded.

Sticky – I also have with me some honey, mustard, garlic puree and Greek yoghurt if you want honey mustard co*cktail sausages.

Sticks – Or if you would rather go 1970’s style get a can of pineapple and slice into chunks and also slice up some cheddar into chunks.

  • Dump. Let’s start with dumping your frozen co*cktail sausages into the air fryer. Then air fry co*cktail sausages for 12 minutes at 200c/400f for perfectly brown mini co*cktail sausages.
  • Sauce. If you want to upgrade your co*cktail sausage to honey and mustard co*cktail sausages you can do this now. Add the sauce ingredients into a bowl, mix well and you can either dunk or toss your sausages in the mix.
  • Serve. Your co*cktail sausages recipe is now ready for serving.

How Long To Cook co*cktail Sausages In Air Fryer?

We recommend 12 minutes at 200c/400f for your chipolata sausages in air fryer. This creates a beautiful brown colour on the co*cktail sausages, though if you don’t want them brown, they will be cooked on 10 minutes.

Sticky co*cktail Sausages

If you prefer sticky co*cktail sausages, instead leave out the Greek yoghurt and then mix the other honey and mustard ingredients and you will have an amazing sticky co*cktail sausages recipe.
